Before the camera, there was a uniform. Deep Focus Creative was founded by a United States Navy veteran whose career took a deliberate turn toward storytelling — first through television and film production, then through still photography. That background shows in every frame.
Television and film trained the eye for composition, pacing, and emotional truth. The Navy trained the discipline. Houston became the canvas. Today, Deep Focus Creative works across families, athletes, seniors, and brands — not to document what people look like, but to capture who they are at the moments that define them.
What We Do
We don’t show up with a shot list. We show up with a point of view — one shaped by military discipline, a film industry eye, and a genuine belief that the most powerful photographs are the ones that feel true.
Not a pose. A portrait. We work with seniors and individuals to find the image that looks the way they feel — confident, layered, and completely themselves. Location-based, fashion-forward, always personal.
The first hours. The ordinary Tuesday. The chaos and the quiet. We document the moments that don’t hold still — with patience, warmth, and an eye for the frame within the frame.
